What is Wild Blueberry Extract?
Wild Blueberry Extract features the lowbush, or wild, blueberries (Vaccinium angustifolium), one of the best fruit sources of anthocyanins. They have a higher antioxidant capacity than highbush blueberries (Vaccinium corymbosum).
Blueberries are known to have one of the highest oxygen radical absorbance capacity levels of all fruits and vegetables. They’re particularly high in polyphenolic flavonoids and contain significant amounts of micronutrients.
